The Scholarship

Why? : The 04 is a small business, locally-owned and operated by two public school teachers, David and Lizi Riley.  In response to the trust the local community has placed in the Riley's and 04 Strength, the gym has decided to give back by creating a scholarship for graduating seniors. The 04 will put on multiple events throughout the 2019-2020 school year, compiling ALL funds, to maximize the final award.   The final amount will be divided into 2 scholarships awarded in May 2020. The recipients will be chosen by the scholarship committee and will be based on merit and need.

For whom? :  The 04 Strength Scholarship Award is for 2 graduating Tivy High School Seniors.  The scholarship will be based on a combination of merit and need.  The committee is looking for students who are active in school and/or the community.  The recipients do NOT need to be members of the 04 Strength gym nor do their family members.  The recipients will be chosen by a 3rd party scholarship committee at Tivy High School.

When to apply? :  The application for the 04 Strength Scholarship Award will be available in the Tivy College and Career Center in  January 2020 and will be open through early May 2020
